That sound? Would the sound of somebody who didn't get a phone call last night. Somebody who might be just twitchy enough to call now even though he's been avoiding it so far so he didn't draw attention to Bridge's phone at a bad time. Somebody who might get just a little paranoid about not hearing from people.

Just ignore the sound of a forehead knocking against a coffeetable. "So how'd you get from jail to Wyoming? I'm guessing you didn't melt the glass in the visiting room, leave a simulacrum in your place and escape using fake ID named Wilbur. Just, like, off the top of my head."
