Yeah, you know what happens when you call somebody really really absurdly early in the morning who didn't just get woken up by nightmares?

If your ringtone isn't one of a select handful, you get the voicemail, actually. If it is, you get, "Mmphmmnnnhah?"

Well, oksy. Xander was fine too and he'd just woken him up and what to say now?

"Hey!" Bridge says a little too brightly. "Hi! I just wanted to uh, say hi. I'll let you go back to sleep now."

".......Bffmidge?" Xander's just conscious enough that if there'd been a tone of alarm in Bridge's voice, he'd be more conscious, if that makes sense.

"Yeah! Hi Xander! ...Bye Xander!"

Xander cracks one eyelid open in an attempt to stare at the phone, but since it 's the wrong eyelid, it doesn't have a lot of effect.

He therefore decides he's probably having a weird but not bad dream, and buries his face in the pillow again. He's still clutching the phone as he drifts back to sleep.
