How nice it is to be home! My goodness if Iowa isn't far away! Anyway It will be nice to get back into the swing of things. My Grandparents were quite happy with the whole affair and thats wonderful, since it was the whole point of things. Also I have escaped any hitting on by my family members, cousins or otherwise and that is the secondary point

How many comments were there about your hair, or is your family used to that sort of thing by now? (In a 'well, hair grows back, but she may yet settle down!' way.)

Only a few people commented on how I had "shaved my head" or how "I look like a boy". One chihc (one of my mom's cousins) wouldn't leave me alone, holes in my head, hair like a boy, dyed an unnatural color, and no intention to marry or move to Iowa. She was being a total freak.

other than that everyone else just wanted to know when I was going back to Michigan.
