I saw on either ctv.ca or cbc.ca last night that John Manley -- that waste of political space -- has started commenting on George Dubya's impending visit to Ottawa. God save us from whatever that moron might have to say. He already apparently invoked the terrifying memory of Mulroney and Reagan singing "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" together at ( Read more... )

"Mr. Manley has done something quite astonishing when you think of it. He's the Deputy Prime Minister speaking at the beginning of a state visit of the Queen to our constitutional monarchy, on her 50th jubilee no less, and he's seen fit to go on record to inform us, the Queen and the world that the monarchy is irrelevant, that he hopes it's over once this Queen's turn is done, and that Canada would be much better off when we're out of it."

Mr. Manley hangs out with a few Americans, does he? The funny thing is that I don't agree. I can't believe he said that! What a buttplant.
