Pre-bake an empty pie shell. Make chocolate pudding in a sauce pan on the stove. Pour said pudding into the pie shell. Cover with a meringue. Chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours before serving.
Pudding pies really are the simplest to make. Then again, berry pies really only necessitate cleaning the berries and adding 1/2 a cup of sugar. I recommend either. One of my all-time favourites was the White Chocolate Mousse Pie at Chez Piggy in Kingston. The crust was made out of chocolate, graham crackers, rice krispies and honey.
