While I don't wash the faucet handle, I do use the paper towel that I dried my hand with to turn off the water. Especially at the lab sinks, when god knows what has touched them.

i wash the tap, but only by splashing water. i try to avoid touching it as much as possible.

we don't really have much public toilets with handles though. it just has a ....thing to depress. it automatically turns off, so you don't have to touch it again after you've washed your hands...

(but one still has to touch the toilet door handle, sigh)

At the Student Health Center, nearly all the bathroom faucets and toilet flushes are motion-activated.

When I'm in not-caring mode, I might start to do the 'NEXT' thing. Or maybe pull a Nikc Burns, Your Company's Computer Guy.
