It's Veronica Mars Wednesday! Aka errand day...

Feb 01, 2006 10:47

I've just prepared my grocery list, so I'll be off to Planet Organic and Costco to pick up the essentials. I also need to stop by Lush, because I'm out of soap, almost out of shampoo and desperately in need of some imperialis cream for my face. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up the cupcake mask, as that is the most divine thing ever ( Read more... )

I love you back. I'm so sorry that I haven't sent this before. I just couldn't seem to come up with any extra funds whenever I remembered that I needed to send it. But now, I'm mostly caught up on all my bills, will be getting new tires shortly and can afford to put things in the post.

A little off topic, but Shoppers Drug Mart has started selling these:

All vegan except for the dryer sheets (which have tallow). We got some products and they're REALLY nice. The wood wipes smell so good I wanted to eat them.

I love books as presents for babies. You can't go wrong with them, IMO.

Congrats to your daughter for doing so well! :)

Sorry about the layoffs at work, that can't be much fun.

We'll both focus on the joy that is new Veronica Mars Night! Have fun cooking, and I hope your day goes well! :D

Oh, that's so cool. That's the one area I'm not terribly vegan in - cleaning products. I keep thinking about it, but it's not something that is readily available. I could make my own, which I should, but I'm frequently lazy.

The books I wanted weren't in at either bookstore I went to, so I'm considering telling the mom-to-be that her gift will be late and special ordering it or getting her something else. However, because the baby isn't yet born, I don't know what to get. Except books.

The cooking went really well, except I missed lunch and was so hungry by the time I finished cooking and cleaning.

And VM was good. Really good.

Yeah, I had a hard time finding anything vegan to clean with here, it's tough to be 100% vegan in a place that doesn't accommodate you. I just do my best to avoid bad companies. I buy a lot of Life Brand stuff, cause they don't test and they also avoid animal products.

These are good baby toys, if you can find them:

I'm glad that the cooking went so well! And glad you enjoyed VM! I loved it too!

You should fill me on the Life brand thing. Because that's useful information. I was in Shoppers yesterday and I saw that they had a few Amy's products, as well as Soy Delicious ice creams.

The new VM was exceedingly enjoyable. Plus, Elvis Costello's Veronica! That alone made the episode worthhwile. The rest was icing.
