The best time to call me would be on Saturday morning (my time) between 9 and 11 am (between 5 and 7 pm your time). Or you could call after 4:30 pm, which would be 12:30 am your time. __lovebuzzz is coming over to partake in a Veronica Mars marathon and we'll be very excited and lusting after Logan. The marathon will continue in to the night and possibly the next morning. I'll be home most of Sunday.

It's a must see, I agree. Even though it's been a long time since I've seen it (8 years, probably), these things I still remember quite vividly - the "So far, so good" metaphor and the 'interrogation' scene. It was really hard to watch. Then again, we see all forms of violence on the news every day, and most of the times there isn't even a flinch left after; it's sad how 'unnoticed' reality is -- better yet, it's sad that this film is still 'fresh' even though it's been a decade since it was made.
I'll definitely have to find it and see it again. (BTW, Croatian title of this film was 'Rage' ('Bijes'). Semantics?)
Also, this would be the time when I'm actually sorry my French is rusty (well, rusty is an understatement, really :/ ).

I've seen it upwards of 15 times. Course, I've studied the film for a number of classes. The interrogation scene was so hard to watch. You're absolutely right. So disturbing.

I still flinch at the final scene every time I see it.

I have to reread his blog, as I only came across it and was so excited by my discovery of it that I didn't read as thoroughly as I should have. If something really hits me, I'll be sure to post about and offer translations.

And my Serbo-Croatian is non-existant. So, don't feel bad. *g*

I feel bad only because I actually studied French in high-school - until I decided I liked Spanish better. I'm sad that I actually got more out of 2 semesters of Spanish than 4 semesters of French! Of course (!), I blame it on Corazón Salvaje + every other Mexican soap opera I followed at the time, AND Croatian Television in general for not having a French equivalent. *g*

Heh. I haven't even taken Spanish, but already what I do know is so much better than my German, which I took for 3 years.
