This was brilliant! I love the way you dealt with the demon blood (bringing back Lenore was a stroke of genius) and the subtle touches of Jo's story were perfect. Thanks for an entertaining read.

Thank you! I didn't want Sam's detox to be *easy*: after all the build up it got in season four, it had to be a major thing. Lenore seemed like an obvious solution to me.

Great story with an interesting twist on canon. I love the use of Missouri, Halley, Lenore and Jo. Can't wait to read the next installment.

Thank you!

I am working on the next installment! Haley has a more prominent role in the next story. Not sure about Missouri, yet.

Just finished reading this on my Nook. I really like the a/u you've drawn here - Lenore with Sam was probably my favorite part, but the chapter starts with all the glimpses of everyone the Winchesters knew was awesome. I wasn't ready for it to be over!!! There are so many unanswered questions!!!!

*ponders*

My favorite line was probably when Lenore told Sam to treasure the pain because it meant he wasn't a monster. Also your Ellen voice was so perfect. Also I love how Dean used his experience in Hell to relate to Jo. Also I need to know what happens next.

*grabs shoulders and shakes you* WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!???!?!?

Rocks fall, everyone dies.

No, I'm kidding :) I am working on the next part, I promise. I have a twist on the whole apocalypse thing which I really hope will work.

I like that line, too. For Sam, pain is what makes him a monster: that's what has motivated the worst things he's done (up to this point in canon). But I think it foreshadows some of what will happen next for him, too.

I'm so glad you liked the chapter intros! I thought people wouldn't read them :)

Thank you :)

I'm not a fast writer, I'm afraid, but I *promise* I am working on the next part.

This was so good... but, but -- please tell me the next part will be coming soon! You can't just leave us here.

Really nice plot with lots of twists and turns. Thank you!

Um...define 'soon'.

I have a lot of the next part written but it's not finished yet. I have no intention of leaving you on the cliffhanger, though. I promise I will post more.

Thanks for commenting :)
