so when something really jacked up happens, why is it always the media's fault?

Ahhh, I've dealt with that one before. (Although at the time I took more issue with her bashing of Democrats than her bashing of the media.) I don't know how to answer your question, but it always makes me sad to read about people blaming the media for something that had nothing to do with them. It's their job to report newsworthy events, is it not?

I'd love to read whatever prompted you to post this question...

That (and many, many other similar writings all over the place) is what made me ask it. The question: Should NBC have aired the stuff the VT killer sent them? I say "yes" to make it simple, but I could go on and on about it.
