Have fun in TO. Try to get some 1:1 time with Justin. Just because Peter got cranky about needing another adult around to watch him & Gus, don't let that stop you.
BTW--If you don't want repercussions about using the word "ring" don't invite them. Now you've got me wondering if you have any plans awaiting the right time and place. ;b
How do the clubs compare to Babylon and can anything compare to time with Gus?
Come on spill all the details, or I will have to get on the "ring" bandwagon too (although I admit, I didn't think anything of it when you mentioned it, as I just thought of it as you being your usual "clever" self).
Hi, Brian. What a stressful climax to your week--and not at all the kind you favor. I'm so glad that Peter is okay.
Can I just say how exceptional Gus is? The way he wanted to take you and Justin and Peter to the park and show you off.
I KNOW Gus is happy in Toronto; maybe he is even safer there, freer from homophobia; but I would have made sure things were safe for him here.
You know, maybe if Mel and Lindsey really do care for Gus's welfare they will allow him to have longer holidays with you and Justin. You have both proved yourself with Peter, not that that is why you have taken him on.
I can't help but hope that when Gus is older, he may need his father more and want to live with you for a while. It would seem natural and he does seem to find it very hard to part from you.
Maybe you and Justin should discuss asking Mel and Lindsey about it when they visit for the holidays?
As for that meal. UGH. I am Canadian and I've never eaten seal. How disgusting. Clearly they are overdoing the 'we are in another country thing.'
The thought of Gus actually LIVING WITH me (us) might have been vaguely intimidating only a few months ago. Now that we've been dealing (fairly successfully) with an initially slightly hostile (i.e. normal) teenager, I think we can handle a younger kid just fucking fine.
Note: The baby seal Thanksgiving entree was a j.o.k.e. As were most of the other menu items I mentioned.
Well, Brian, it sounds like you had a good time in Toronto even though your weekend came to such a stressful end with Peter's appendicitis. Your bitches wish him well and I hope you and Justin can get your own lives back on track. I assume he will need some recovery time before he can return to school (and soccer practice
( ... )

Gus is happy and healthy and safe in Toronto. That has to be enough consolation for me.
