I found you through the flower and fang LJ comm. I have to say that this was absolutely lovely, especially for your first Bill/Fleur fic. I loved Fleur's nerves and the constant imagery of the rain matching her mood. The questions though were ones you could imagine any new mother having, and with Fleur so afraid to ask and Bill unable to comprehend.

It was fantastic. Awesome job.

Thank you so much. I don't know if you guessed or not (probably not) but I'm at about where Fleur is in this fic with my first pregnancy - a lot of her worries aren't literature, they're transference. Writing this was a bit of a healing experience for me, and I'm glad it turned out well.

My reasons for loving these two are pretty selfish - they remind me of the way my husband and I are with each other. So it was kind of like writing into a mirror for me when I jotted this down: A pleasant, if a bit unusual, experience.

I wish there were more Bill/Fleur fics out there! This is a sadly oft-neglected pairing.

Found this off one of the HP newsletters on LJ, can't remember which at this point.

Anyway, I just wanted to note that you've given us an excellent glimpse of Fleur here. Her worries and fears are completely natural and believable. Very nicely written.

Fleur's worries and fears are, for the most part, my worries and fears, which probably lends quite a bit to them being natural and believable.

So very beautiful. I've gone through so many flip-flops between craving and avoiding babyfic, but this was very touching. I was quite teary-eyed for most of it, but the moment of truth was when Fleur finally asked the question that was in her heart. This piece was full of genuine emotion, and I'd like to recommend it if that's okay.

Of all the things I've written recently, I'd have to say that this is one of my favorite pieces. The way she's feeling translated very closely to how I was feeling in the last month or so of pregnancy. I'm very proud of the way this piece was written.

I'd be honored if this piece were recommended.

This is stunning! You've made Fleur very human here and that's something that was missing in her canon portrayal. Combine that with your gorgeous writing style and this is a treasure. &hearts

Wow! Thank you so much! I had no idea this made it all the way to a rec list, although I will say that this is probably the best piece I've ever written.
