What rap said. It makes Felix' execution a bit more bearable to think that Adama offered him an out and he didn't take it. Better than thinking that Adama just acted on his fury, which is how it comes off for me in canon. Nicely done.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I wrote this mainly because I was so disturbed at how it went in canon, as many people were.

I don't know if it seemed believable given the current state of the Admiral. But it was consistant with the Adama I fell in love with, and I want so much for that man to still be there. And you managed to do that, and actually have it work with where Adama has gone.

You aren't the one who did the actual breaking. In a way, this is healing, a healing the show is refusing to give me. So thank you.

I think this is the best chapter yet. I like the idea that Bill tried to spare Felix's life. And I like it even more that Felix wouldn't let him.
