Another very good chapter! I love seeing Aragorn in action both as warrior and healer... he brings the same intensity to both, very in character. His courage in going right after the dogs, but doing so wisely, is just how I'd imagine, and the detail in the healing scene was terrific. I love, love, love the effect his singing the Elvish lay had on even Hakim. You did a great job combining Aragorn's learned, pragmatic healing skills with the more mystical healer's touch he has because of his bloodline. And I like that you didn't have him heal her so thoroughly that it was All Better Immeejutly. You nicely avoided giving him the deus ex machina Sooper Speshul Sekrut Majikal Powehs that some writers give him ( ... )

Awesome feedback is awesome.

I'm glad you liked the balance of action and . . . medical action. I have a well-documented fondness for healer!Aragorn. With this fic, I really let my inner medical geek come out to play.

LOL, after what I've put him through, I wouldn't be surprised if Aragorn would like to take a torch to my laptop instead.

I'm glad Azzam and Asima's complexities are continuing to come through. They really are torn in all kinds of different directions. And "argh, Azzam" is pretty much the reaction I was going for. He Reacts Badly to things.

That sentence about Kali's family . . . *headdesk.* I half-proofread that and ended up with something more nonsensical than I'd started with. Ditto the other awkward sentence. I am le'tired . . .

Thanks for the awesome review!
