I really like this. I'm not wild about most Faramir fics, because writers, in their zeal to explore his vulnerability, all but emasculate him, but you've got him just right here. He's troubled but still strong, just as I would imagine him to be. And the comfort Aragorn offers isn't a panacea nor does it "fix" everything instantly... I like the open ending especially.

Have I mentioned before that I'm soooo glad you're writing again? *g*

Aww, thank you! This was my first time writing Faramir (unless you count the little snippets in "Splintered Reflection"). I think a certain amount of angst is in character, but I really didn't want to woobify him. It's good to hear that you liked the balance I struck.
