Some on you know that I have been participating in the UTSAPD's Treasure Hunter Game, and the prize is one Ipod per team member. Today, Big (Creepy, ex-sailor) James found the merit. Thew merit is the thing we need to find to win the contest. James is on my team. So, we win

DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND BRENDAN!!11! The CD is dead! We must all use the iPods that come from the bowels of Apple-fornia in order to remain hip and trendy!

Oh and they're not really all that fragile. My 30GB Video has worked fine for over a year and it's been dropped a few times. You could also do the obvious thing and...y'know, get a case.

Both of those iPods were inside cases when they were dropped. The hard disk in them refused to work after that incident. I don't know of any cases awesome enough to absorb the entire shock of accidentally being dropped from a standing height.

I could give less than a tenth of a fuck whether or not having an iPod is trendy. I had one. It was not that great. If they were as sturdy as a GBA, I'd keep it for sure. I just don't want to lose a chance to get around $200 for an unopened iPod. Also I despise the earbuds, and I'm terrible with keeping head phones in good shape, and I really hate how people using iPods become so antisocial and self-absorbed. I prefer not to become a part of that.

I need money anyway. For A-Kon and to take Andrea to her prom.
