...hahaha, and I'm sure many of my LJ mates have probably deleted me from their viewing list, seeing as I never post anything these days
( Read more... )
I listened to the first half of your disc last night (no lie) in bed before I went to sleep. And that is only the second of the collection I've had a listen to yet...no time no time no time.
I've never understood dropping people who don't post anything. It's not like it cuts down on what you have to read.
I only drop people who post nothing but crap I don't want to read. Or people who drop me and then never post anything public. So you're pretty safe. :)
well, thanks mate...brendanobrienAugust 6 2006, 00:28:18 UTC
hahaha...it is nice to know someone thinks I'm "safe"...hahahaha.
I agree with what you wrote, although when I was reading my flist regularly I must confess that there were some people who had to be removed from my "must read" list or else I'd never have read them all.
I must admit that it's also really good not having time to read stuff because of being busy in real life...LOL...but it still doesn't stop me missing my online mates.
Given that crazy schedule of yours, I can understand why you haven't been able to update in a while. I'm hoping with the biggest of hopes that you get the changes you want in your work life. I'm sure it can't be easy to do the midnight thing for so long. (Do you ever get to see your family when you're awake?)
as of this week just gone, it looks like I'll be doing four 10-hour days a week now, with any luck. This means I should be able to catch up with the family probably in the mornings before school. And of course that also means that I'll be getting 3 days off a week, which will also be nice. Just about getting through the four long days now...
I'm interested if Martha is one of your faves too, knowing how big a TW fan you are.
And how is your arty stuff going? Been selling much? Have the Godesses made a re-appearance at all? And how is your little bundle of joy going? He must be causing all sorts of trouble at school by now. Mate, I really miss you...
Glad to hear that your schedule will be changing. I hope you can handle the 10 hour days. That sounds pretty rough to me but I recall it being easier to just dig in for the long haul and focus on the fact that you'll have more time off. I hope that it works for you. Will that still be midnight shift
( ... )
If things get busy at work or there is a shortage of workers I may be expected to work through until midnight, but usually I should be outta there before then. *smiling*
And I do have almost everything Tom Waits has released, but if you made me a CD of your faves with an original cover on it, I would be so proud to add it to my collection. It is up to you, but there aint no obligation...
