Much better list. 17/100 isn't bad for me, plus, I can awlays add a few to the list and cheat is seeing the movie (such as THE MALTESE FALCON) counts. Probably not. I suppose they mean raeding a book, rather then knowing the story.

LOL, yes, I'm afraid they DO mean actually reading the book.

Eventually, I'd like to say I've read every book on this list, of course, that means I have read James Joyce. *cringes*

Me and the Editorial Board obviously have very different tastes in books. I've read Catch-22 - should have included that in the Radcliffe list, but didn't spot it until I'd posted - but I can't say I was that impressed.

As for the rest of them, I'd only consider I, Claudius, although I've never been that keen on Claudius - he invaded Britain and that makes him a bad man.

Oh, I did see a movie called Animal Farm once, but it was rather disturbing and I stopped the tape after a couple of minutes. :-P
