Heidi had been fixing her hair while she waited for her son to arrive, when she heard the doorbell she opened it with a big smile on her face, a smile that disappeared when she saw the state he was in. Heidi didn't have any superpowers but she didn't need them to see something was wrong with her youngest boy.

"Mon, what is it?"

He flashed her a nervous smile. "I'm fine, Mom." He wrapped his arms around her in a huge hug. "How've you been?"

Heidi hugged him tightly and smiled, she had missed him "I can't complain, work has been keeping me busy." She stood back to look at him, he was looking more and more like his father now days. "So um, lunch?"

Monty led the way out to his red mustang convertible, the lovely and much loved Christine. He opened the door for his mother with a charming grin.
