It's probably going to become my distraction haven during NaNoWriMo because tumblr is too, too time-sucky.

*waves* I said the same thing earlier this week. Haven't been on LJ in ages, felt like dusting it off. So far, I've avoided the time suck that is tumblr. I have had a tumblr for a while now, but I just don't ever seem to go there. Old dog, new tricks, I guess.

On the one hand, tumblr can be really cool, even as a timesuck. On the other hand, it can become a HUGE timesuck and sometimes get over-saturated with drama -- though, like most sites, it all depends who you follow.
But when trying to be productive, tumblr is really, really not helpful :)

Pinterest was my big time-suck, but I dont do tumblr. I took Pinterest off my cell phone and that's helped. I think I'd like to try nanowrimo one year but I'd have to make a conscious effort at work to schedule around Nov. This year my Nov. is beyond overwhelming, like in every way possible, so I'm just trying to make it to winter break at this point! One year though....
