Beautiful interpretation of Purgatory. I absolutely hated the finale but the codas about the potential of Purgatory are starting to make me change my mind. Of course, I have a feeling Show will not do it half as interestingly as you've done it here. ;)

The *only* thing that matters to me about a season finale is its fic potential. Course that could be because I joined fandom near the end of S5, just in time for fic paradise.

I guess I'm just kind of easy. I like to do my codas in pairs for fairness, so I'm working on a Sam-focused S/D idea, too.
