Oooh, Penelope! So much ♥ for that movie, really - it is so good and whimsical and awesome. And yes, it does get a bit heavy-handed, but I forgive it.

And I totally agree about the nose thing - I loved it so much that I missed it when I saw Ricci with her normal nose again!

It's exactly my favorite kind of movie, but I didn't think I was going to be able to take it seriously. And then it was so much better than I'd expected! And I loved it. :D

I do think her normal nose is very cute, but it did seem weird for the rest of the movie. The pig snout was adorable. And I loved that they addressed the fact that it was weird for all of them, once it was gone.

Ooh, yes, and I loved all the strangeness with the Halloween costumes and her wearing a mask of her own face. Also, I really really loved Static Cling kid. I don't know why.

Dude, I already melted. I would be a PUDDLE if he used his native accent. (I'm watching interviews on YouTube and not even listening to what he's saying all the time.) Though I also think the fake American works better, partly because it's a HUGE tip-off to the fact that he's not of the same blue-blooded stock as the British suitors.

That's my favorite, too - I was just thinking that, in fact. :D You can see him recognizing more the longer she talks, and then when she gives herself away, and he just can't help it...ohh. It's just lovely and adorable.

I did not think I was going to like this movie as much as I did, but I totally loved it. Huh. :D
