Yeah, seriously. They could have such great lectures - they could have Kathy Reichs, and Clea Koff who does genocide identifications, and even my professor who works on disaster archaeology, and that's just the biological side. They manage to include so much cultural stuff in the show as well; it'd be so easy to tie in a lot of different societies to the show. It'd be fascinating.

I prefer the smaller cons, too: it's fun to be recognized. At the Harry Potter one, I went with three friends, and at 17 we were among the 10 youngest people there. We were also wearing matching sweatshirts that were a rich red with "Marauders" on the back, and since it was kind of overcast and drizzly all week, we wore them all the time. Because of these two facts, we were recognized, and that was fun.

But yeah, I don't think I could do the really expensive cons. I'm with you: I'd rather travel. :P But I'd definitely think I'd check out a Bones con.

He was saying that he had to walk around with his Sam t-shirt and stuff, because everyone was either a Sam or a Dean. I don't know.

And maybe that's because he's what, 8 years older and no longer awkward-teenager-phase-y. Because he was pretty cute on Gilmore Girls, but he's HOT on Supernatural. And yet some people think Jensen Ackles is more attractive. I don't get it.

Well, there's that, too. To be perfectly honest, I didn't like ANY of Rory's boyfriends that much. I think I liked end-of-series Logan best, but seriously. She was such a good girl, and she always went for such bad boys, and none of them were really any good for her.

And this is why the only pairing I cared about was Luke/Lorelai. :P

I would love to go to a Bones con! That and an Office con. Oh, Lost too and possibly The X-Files. However, cons for shows I want to go to are very rarely held over here so I wouldn't get the chance anyway.

I think the coast of them are kind of ridiculous. I mean, you're already paying so much for a ticket but they want you to pay more to meet a member of the cast! Jeesh.

I've always thought it would be really awesome to go to a con, but I don't really know much about them. But you'd probably have an awesome time at a Bones con! I mean, of all the people there, I think a lot of them will probably be looking for substance, just like you, and you'll find the people you'll be able to have interesting conversations with. And imagine meeting the cast! That would be so awesome!
