Aww, Yale is pretty! I kind of want to see this movie, for those shots alone.

In other news ... It's my bedtime? Or not. ;)

PS: I love your icon. I want to cuddle Zack.

It was so cool, watching the chase scene through the streets of New Haven and going, "Yup, Yale looks exactly the same now as it did 50 years ago. Awesome," and realizing that they didn't show the other angle at the entrance to the library because they have that fountain-memorial-thing for women at Yale there. When it switched from Hollywood stage to actual New Haven streets, everyone kind of half-applauded, but it was a chase scene, so we were all too intent to care too much. :P

Aw, me too.

I was reading an article the other day from archaeologists who are pissed that Indy gives off the wrong impression of archeology because he destroys everything. LOL. I felt like going, "You do understand this is a movie, right?" but meh, it ended by them saying that a lot of students start studying archeology BECAUSE of Indiana Jones. ;)

How far off was the movie in terms of time? I wanted to re-read, but apparently my sister stole the book when no one was looking. And yes, Peter was quite idiotic, but I think with movie audiences you sometimes have to exacerbate the facts to get the point across.

Haha, yeah. I was watching Raiders of the Lost Ark with a bunch of archaeologists, and half the group was going, "This isn't REAL archaeology!" and the rest of us were like, "Well, DUH." :P But they had a mention in this one of the misconceptions regarding archaeology vs. grave-robbing, which was AWESOME because this is kind of the era when archaeology is trying to distance itself and having a hard time of it. So, yay. :D ( ... )

YOU SAW Prince Caspian WITHOUT ME?!?!!?! *gasp* *shock* *horror*! Also, I think you'd like my anthro prof (I'm taking human evolution - slightly too basic and therefore a little boring but the prof is good and tells amusing stories, so class is not awful.)

I'm back in NH JUne 4, evening. Just so you know.

AHH! I know. I thought you weren't getting back until later, so I decided to go with Eric and Laurie. But I liked it, so I will go see it again with you (on Cheap Movie Night) if you want. :D

Also, cool. Anthro is fun. :D

Yes, and it was kind of sad. But Caspian and Peter are both very pretty, and Edmund is surprisingly hot, so it's fun anyway. :P (I was surprised at how old the actors are: Caspian is 26, I think, and Peter is 21 and Edmund is 17. Susan is 8 days younger than me (so, 19). But Lucy is 12, so that's ok.)
