I hate Jennifer Morrison's blonde hair. I know she's a natural blonde and all, but she's got brunette coloring, and when your coloring looks better with your dyed hair, you stick with your dyed hair (yes, Gillian Anderson, I'm also talking to you). She's such a pretty girl, but the blonde washes her out and makes her look completely generic, as ( Read more... )

I wasn't sure about it either, but I've gotten used to it now and I think she looks gorgeous.

I thought I was getting used to it, but every time I see a picture it still looks wrong. I just think she's so much more striking and delicate-looking with dark hair. There have been times in the past where her hair was a lighter shade of brown with lots of blonde in it (like TB or Not TB), and there it looks fantastic as well; I just think that her current shade looks off.

I agree with you. JMo has a roundish face, and so dark hair accentuates her cheekbones and the shape of her face while blonde hair just makes her face look wider - there's no contrast there. Blonde hair would look better on someone with a more angular face.

I think the one exception to my little rule is Jesse Spencer, who, with brown or blonde hair just looks...guh. There aren't words. ;)

The same is true of the bangs, too - if you look at shots of her in the earlier seasons, the long brown hair definitely lengthens her face. The bangs-with-ponytail look made her look like a twelve-year-old boy, even though I loved the bangs-with-messy-bun from the season premiere last year.

Hee. I have to agree. :D
