This is just completely awesome! I love Cooper trying to still be Cooper+Violet even though things fell apart, and I love Violet not being able to cope without Cooper and not quite understanding why. And the end, aww so cute! Especially with Violet trying to deflect - that's so Violet. I am majorly wishing your version of events was canon...

WOW. What I loved:

She didn’t get the urge very often, but when she did, it usually ended with a phone call and her doorbell ringing fifteen minutes later: solace standing on her doorstep with movies he hated and greasy takeout she’d regret in the morning. This was a damn brilliant sentence, in so many ways.

I love her anger that he had to make everything complicated. I love Cooper standing up for himself.

His eyes reached out for her to understand, and she wished that she didn’t.

The kiss! I love sudden kisses born of anger or frustration. And finally, the ending! Oh, the ending. Way to melt me.

And yeah, I know "sudden kisses born of anger or frustration" (that was so well put I had to plagiarise it) are a bit of a cliche sometimes, but they're so dramatic and so needs to happen! ;)
