Happy Australia Day everyone. :) Or should I say Invasion Day!

Quick! Crack open a coldie and throw a snag on the barbie and watch the tennis on the TV.

Oh and congrats to our ever deserving Australian of the Year: Professor Mick Dobson [who looks a lot like my Dad!]

Now I'm off to finish eating my vegemite roll. :p

Ive heard vegemite is really disgusting lol but Ive never tried it so I cant really judge it

If it was disgusting then I wouldn't be eating it! Almost all Aussie kids grow up eating vegemite. It's very rare to find an Aussie that doesn't like it. It can be a very strong taste though, so when you're first starting to eat it, don't layer it on thickly. But it's just sooooo yummy. :)

good to know the pen pal that I use to write too that lived in alice springs she totally hated it lol so she is like the only one I know that never liked it.

Yeah it's pretty rare that people don't like it. I mean everyone gets raised on it. Kids are given vegemite on toadt or vegemite sandwiches from a very young age.
