Yep. I finally made more Queer as Folk icons. :) You know what? I've never really watched Season 1 all that much. Really. Well, yesterday/last night/early this morning, I marathoned it. :D It was fun. And the result? ICONS!!1! Most are S1 (as I've implied), and I will admit, most are Justin or Brian/Justin. :D Some at the end are from other seasons ( Read more... )

I still <3 you! Although, I really have found that the quality of the DVD improved from S1 to S5. S5 has been the best so far compared to the previous grainy, darker seasons. Makes me wonder what the DVDs in the white box are like! Thank you for trying, bb! :))

PS. Don't know what icons I'm taking yet! I have to do a user icon revamp, for sure.

I don't really mind S5 quality, it's just the Babylon scenes... I have this need to "clean them up" and make the weirdo colors less, weird, I guess. Oh well, they are at a dance club, I guess. :P

I have the white box, and I don't know. The season one quality was pretty good, especially compared to S4. For my box set, those are the worst, for some reason... :(

Very true. I have that need to lighten them. I think that the colors are inevitable because of the ... clubby environment, lol.

Oh! You have the white box. Did you buy it in a store or online? I'm curious about buying them since mine have been scratched to hell. Did you find that any of them were damaged or scratched in the white box?

Of course I liked them! I can't dislike anything that you do. :))

I got the boxset used from someone on LJ, actually. I don't know where they got them from originally. I was gonna get them off of Amazon, since they want waaaay too much for it on Showtime's site, but I got it for only $100, including shipping. I couldn't pass that up. Especially since I paid almost $50ish a piece for them when they first came out... :) But when we moved two-ish years ago, all my DVDs got lost. :( Honestly, I think my homophobic father threw them out, but that's another story completely... :'( So, I bought them again. :D ( ... )

These are all amazing! The Babylon ones look really good I think! I am definitely going to be using a bunch of these!

these are some of the best icons I've ever seen
these colours are awesome
how did you do it???it's almost impossible working with qaf caps!

Aw, thanks!! I don't know, the S1 quality was better than some of the other seasons, I don't know why... o.O But I'm glad you like them! I always have a ton of fun playing around with the coloring, so I'm glad that so many people seem to like it too. :) Thanks again for the comment! <3
