[It wasn't saying much, but Chistery was generally friendly. He really only captured Dorothy and nearly drowned her dog because Elphaba had ordered it.]

[She gives Chistery a little wave and a smile, still not sure if she wants to pet it or not. Buffy then focuses her attention back on the people in the room. She gives Elphaba a polite look-over, but has trouble not staring at her.]
You're, uh, much prettier than in the movie I saw. With you. Or the person acting as you.
[Oh god, was that the right thing to say? It was completely sincere, but.. She was trying so hard to take this seriously.]
