Hey that was really gooood. Very hot and entertaining. I luv reading stories that have flashbacks and backstories. Loved hearing about poor innocent little Toby's first time...so funny but realistic. I could so see that happening to him. And hooray to the freaky deaky goodness that Ryan brings. So very gay and delightful.

My fave lines were Toby saying that he was 'deflowered' lol and Ryan telling how he always calls areolas the 'ring around the nipple'. So funny and very in character.

Thanx so much for this and "So Sue Me" (which I just read and made me laugh out loud many many times). Such good, realistic, fun, hot stories. Keep em coming!

Finally got around to reading this, Dusty - once again *damn!* :D
First off, so fucking jealous of Meredith it's not funny! Send a horny Beecher my way, any day! LOL.
Secondly - damn you're good at making me buy pairings I normally can't believe. I mean, Ryan is so staunchly het in canon, but you really sold his slashiness here. Plus it is a Season-1-Ryan, who was so much slashier than throughout the rest of the show. And these two were *so* hot getting high together in canon (remember the nipple squeezing? Squee!) that I love the way you've just carried it on in fanfic. Very, very nice.
Lastly, since I finally got myself an lj, and since your stuff is just so fabulous, I'm friending you. :)

I agree, I can definitely see the slashy aspects of Ryan and Toby in the first season - that's what made me decide to write them. After that, his slash potential goes out the window for a long time. With his attitude about getting breast cancer - "a girl's cancer', and then obsessing over Gloria - he becomes way too antagonistic to slash effectively. But the way he and Beecher are all over each other in season one just sets of all my gaydar, you know?

I'm so glad you enjoyed Asylum. I think I'll work on the sequel for next week's Smut Day Wednesday - so there should be another one soon!

Oh my god YES. Just yes. This was so in character and hot. Sorry to leave such gushing-yet-insubstantial feedback, but I just loved every word of this.

I'd never really considered this pairing before, but it works so well here I can't stop thinking about it now.
