Been working on my next blank verse assignment for school. For once I got lucky and was actually struck with an idea for something without having to drag some subject up out of nothing, which usually results in a better final product. I really like your play idea... but it seems very Othello-esq to me. Especially if it's for the teacher that has barred you from using Shakespearian language, perhaps you could do it as an almost adaptation? Othello from Iago's view? Well, moreso than it already is, anyway.

...Of course, I might also just have thought of it that way because Othello was the last play I was in, so I somehow still have it on the brain. XD
