I'm sure Walt made his peace easily knowing he had to kill Gus to protect his family and getting Jesse willing and eager to help him Kill Gus was the only way to do it. My guess he told himself it was for Jesses own good.
I'm pretty sure that Walt told himself that it was for Jesse's own good (same kind of rationalizing than the one about Jane who was both a danger for Walter and considered a bad influence for Jesse).
I'm also convinced that he was genuinely relieved that the kid would be okay.
I got the impression that this last season is going to be a "reckoning" because Hank and Jesse sooner or later have to be aware about Walt's actions in my opinion.
1) I'm going to miss Gus but that had to be the best death ever. He walked out like the terminator. 2) If there was any hope for Walt it kinda died when I saw the flower pot. I can't believe he poisoned Brock. Well I can I'm just disappointed. xD
I don't get it, WHEN could he have poisoned Brock? Just crept into his room in the middle of the night and force-fed him poison berries and told him not to tell anyone?
Oh wow...that was just absolutely badass. And I might be wrong but I have my doubts on Gus truly being dead no matter how bad Gus looked at the end and how he fell over, what the tv and radio was saying on the episode, etc. Perhaps it's just wishful thinking on my part?
The next season will be a Walter and Jesse showdown, right? Walter has done so many truly shitty things to Jesse and you know all that has to come out sooner or later.
I'm surprised they haven't at least mentioned Mike in the past few episodes. Even as a passing mention.
Props to whoever did the make up on Giancarlo during his final scene. I almost fell off the bed when it panned to the other side of his face. That was just fucking amazing.
Mike will come back and according to Gilligan he will be pissed off about what happened to his boss. I wonder if he'll get back only at Walt or at Jesse too. I see him more trying to get Jesse out of Walt's influence again. I wish, at least.
I agree on both accounts. Mike will be back and with a soft spot for Jesse surely deepened by the kid basically saving him ( working on Gus 1st and only they would have left him in the car to bleed out without Jesse dragging him inside if you ask me) in Mexico I think his fury will rest heavy on Walt.
I kinda hope Mike will be the one to help piece together what really happened to Brock and why. Once that comes out I have a feeling the Jane thing will resurface as I think Mike has always suspected Walt being the someone (remember Mike knew right aways someone else had been in there) who was in there the night Jane died. Introduce his belief that Walt was in that bedroom at some point the night she died and Walt drug fueled "Fly" half confession may be all Jesse needs to start putting the pieces togeher there too.
Yep, I look for season 5 to be a whole lot Walt vs Jesse to the point it will be the final show down.
May I dare to root for Jesse with a reckless passion in that case?
Anyway 4x12 showed that Jesse isn't stupid at all, he's just very naive and emotional. What he needs is a guide. Hopefully Mike will be hired fulltime for the job.

I'm really curious what will happen now that Gus is gone. Kind of concerned about that last shot too.

Not perfect by any means I think there are any number of ways he might get to the kid through different means.
