Party!!!, Purposefully Creepy Mansion, Friday Evening

It was Halloween and that meant one thing: there was a party at the mansion.

Okay, it probably meant more than just one thing, but for Mike? Yeah, that one thing was the most important one. Kinda trumped everything else. Unlike last year, he hadn't had help from April, so the level of overall gore and genuine creepiness was a little lower. But

Tons of moddable snacks and beverages in both creepy and non-creepy varieties. Also, jello shots, including creepy as well.

And a ton of candy.

"I dragged him out costume shopping, so he should be here at some point," she said. And everyone should talk to him about FARM. "He's good, though. It's been kind of quiet."

"Oh, is he going to be meta Han Solo?" Jack asked -- mainly because he was proud of himself for recognizing her costume. "It's been quiet for me, too, minus the ermine. School and work, mostly. I wish I had better party stories."

"We haven't graduated to couples costumes yet," Kitty smiled. "And I think quiet's fine, even if it means the party stories aren't hugely exciting. Because at some point the quiet's gonna stop and we should probably appreciate this."

Emma squirmed on his shoulder in agreement.

Insofar as an ermine's emotions could be recognized, it did not appear Emma found this convincing logic.
