Notes: This is a fairly weak category right now too but I honestly wouldn’t mind if Levitt ended up my #1 this year. What about "Let The Right One In"? I haven't seen "Thirst" but wouldn't that be worth noting too?

BTW can you explain the fuss over Precious? I mean, it looks very worthy and while I'm sure the acting is impeccable, the trailer doesn't give the impression that it's something I'm going to enjoy watching. Do you need to be in the right mood for it? (While this might seem silly, in the back of the mind I'm imagining that it's "Dangerous Minds" only from a pupil's point of view. Having only recently finished my training as a teacher, I'm worried that I'm going to be gritting my teeth throughout.)

Precious is DEFINITELY not a movie that you "enjoy" at all. I think it is mostly a really great acting piece. If you're interested, I actually have a review of it if you scroll down my journal.
