This. Was. AWESOME. I giggled aloud at basically every comment you left between the pictures and it was great to drool over ahem, see Keira in this picspam because as much as I'd like to own this movie, I actually don't! Hm. I may go out and buy it someday...and laugh through the whole thing because I'll think back to your commentary. XD
THANK YOU. haha, Keira looks ridiculously pretty in this movie. It kind of makes me wonder why they always a cast a super beautiful actress to play the 'plain' sister (cause Liz is supposed to pale in comparison to Jane!). But the plain one is always prettier than the pretty one.
This was great. I love this movie so much, and now I feel like re-watching it again. I adore Mr. Darcy so much. His personality is almost exactly like mine too tbh. LOL Except he's just a little more serious than me. :P
OMG I totally just watched this literally the other day and now you've made me want to watch it again haha. Not a hard thing to do really since this movie is pretty much perfection.
Your comments were spot on bb, I was totally bobbing my head like a dork the entire time agreeing with everything you said, lol. And I'm pretty sure the final shot with the sunrise coming up behind Keira and Matthew wasn't planned according to Joe Wright's commentary on the movie. It was just a rather amazing, perfect coincidence O_o
Oh damn, I've actually never listened to the full commentary of the DVD. I should do that, but man, that's such a lucky coincidence. I bet if they planned it, it wouldn't have turned out as well cause they'd have to be thinking about the timing too much.
OH THIS MOVIE. HOW IT THRILLS ME SO MUCH. HOW NO SCORE CAN EVER COMPARE TO THIS ONE. seriously. there are many, MANY epic scores but this is the only one that i can listen on the loop for hours on end without skipping over a single track. it's so lovely and wonderful
AND THE CAST IN THIS FILM. EVERYONE IS UGHHH SO INCREDIBLE. And I love the story of how Carey Mulligan got the part--- ALL CHANCE. Without this film, we would have no Carey Mulligan, or Joe Wright going on to do other awesome films. And how they were adamant on Matthew, and maybe without that he would never be in The Three Musketeers idk haha. Or Keira and Rupert!
I used to listen to this soundtrack SO MUCH. And I bought the book of sheet music and would just play that ALL DAY LONG instead of the songs I was supposed to be playing.
The casting for this movie is great. I've wanted to see more from Matthew for a long time now (I'm still in the middle of watching Pillars of the Earth), but he was awesome in Frost/Nixon too.
He's so great in Pillars of the Earth! I think his role isn't as showy as the villains or Eddie Redmayne's but I think it it's very commendable to be the perpetually perfect and noble character of the bunch.
I really like him so far. Personally, I'm finding the villains' acting to be a little over-the-top at times so I really appreciate the subtle actors like Matthew and Donald Sutherland.

I love that he's all serious, except with his sister and in the end, Elizabeth.
