You have some of my favorites on here - and I've heard great things about the ones I haven't seen.
Terrific choices!

Angels in America = <3.

I think you have amazing taste.

So many of these films are in my top films of all time. Particularly love Moulin Rouge!, Mullholland Drive, Far from Heaven, Wall•E and Inglourious Basterds!

Beautiful mini-picspams to go with each too! ♥

Thanks! The 2000s were a pretty good decade for film.

I'm going to have so much trouble with this challenge--- how the bloody hell am I supposed to pick? But I guess it should be easier to narrow down if I chose 'my favorites' instead of 'the best films of the decade'.

Speaking of which--- seeing as how you like Pixar films, what did you think of Up?

And also--- have you seen any anime films?

Yeah, I would say these are 'favorites' as well. And I also took into consideration spreading it through the years. I wanted to have every year at least represented once (which is why I went for 15 instead of 10).

I loved 'Up'. It's my #2 this year. I could make half this list with just Pixar films honestly, lol.

I haven't seen a lot of Anime. I remember really liking Spirited Away but it's been FOREVER since I saw it.

Oh 'Up' is definitely really high up on my list this year too. I cried so many times during that film, even though it was such a happy film.

Neither have I, but Hayao Miyazaki is a great place to start, I just watched Mononoke-Hime/Princess Mononoke and it was pretty amazing. And Howl's Moving Castle too. I'll never see animated films the same way anymore.

Yeah, I think anime films are just so much more mature than American animation. In the U.S., it's still mostly assumed that animated films are mostly supposed to cater to children.

I have seen a few great animated films that are adult-oriented that I loved like Waltz with Bashir and Waking Life. Actually those should probably go on my honorable mentions as well... lol.
