do not get excited, and probably TMI

I am just noting for my own record. Nothing is happening and I am not going into labor until next week at least. Don't anybody think that I'm getting all hepped up or anything, cause I'm not. I'm just an anal bio geek, which means I take note of everything under the sun that goes on with my body ( Read more... )

Silly woman! You'll be poking and prodding and cuddling and stroking a new little baby.

yeah as soon as I posted I realized duh, my hands will be busy for the next few decades. The fog has really set in, chances for brain cell recovery seem slim ;)

Takes about 2 years. You get full function back just in time to have another baby and lose it all again.

I don't know why everyone's so sad, but I'm hoping it's nothing too serious :( I'll be keeping anyone in a bad situation in my thoughts :(

I am still going to get a little excited for you. Even if it's for four weeks away.

Awfully down over here.

It's okay if you get excited, I just don't want people to think I'm one of those pregnant people who flip out at the tiniest sign.

Well, I totally dreamed (dreamt?) that you were in labor last night. It was a very thorough dream, complete with you going for a walk with Juney during early labor, and Viv calling Juney's cell (see, I even pulled in the no-cell-phone-thing) and demanding that you get yourself home, and for some reason I was there in Seattle for the whole thing. Weird. But yay! for dreams about meeting Julia!

I'd also like to read along for a bit. I just read your comments on culture and breastfeeding on marscapone's journal--very interesting.

Good luck in these final weeks! They are nerve-wracking, aren't they?

Hi! My daughter is actually 10 months old now, and it turns out it was a big deal- I went on to have her a couple of days after I posted this ;) I've seen your posts in Marie's journal too- nice to see you here.
