Yes, it's the new Bond film with the new Bond. Didn't Flemming write a ton of Bond books, do they really need to remake one they already made??

i thought the only film version of casino royale was the parody with david niven & woody allen? (how's that for a pair?) that movie has nothing at all to do with the book.

You're right. Not only David Niven and Woody Allen, but Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, Deborah Kerr, George Raft, Jean-Paul Belmondo, William Holden, John Huston, Charles Boyer AND Orson Welles!!! 1967.

I was getting it mixed up with From Russia with Love and Dr No, in which Sean Connery was Bond. But then all Bond films are spoofs, so I'm not surprised at my mistake :)
