[[ON THIS FINE DAY, Hunter's trying to bake his cake. It's not turning out so well. He added the wrong amount of eggs, flour, and it's too runny. After desperately trying to fix it, he loses his temper. He runs out the front door wearing an apron that says 'Kiss the Cook' on it, though it's covered in splotches of... some kind of foodstuffs. *Reisen's on her way to the store... she stares for a few seconds, and then hurries on her way*

YEAH, YOU'D BETTER HURRY ON YOUR WAY.

[[After fuming for a sec, he reconsiders, and begins to run after her.]]

HEY, WAIT! DO YOU KNOW HOW TO BAKE?

((I don't think he's seen Reisen's rabbit ears (and tail) yet?))

W-what...? I do, but...

... is this about that cake you're supposed to make for Fey-san?

[[He catches up to her, but then screeches to a halt. What are those things?]]

...Huh, didn't think you'd be into that kind of thing.

[Oh, Hunter, Spy manages to catch sight of your random failure at cake-baking. Alas, he doesn't stop by to say anything, heading straight home to do his 'kind act' for the day. Which consists of making a damn near perfect cake that Spy calmly carries back to Hunter's house when no one's looking. He'll drop the gift off at the door, with a note attached, stating the following:]

It seems like you needed the help.

[Spy, being a man of pride, won't stick around either. Like he wants the entire town of Mayfield to know that he cooks as a hobby. It would damage his charming reputation, after all.]

[[Hunter had gone back inside his house, fuming for about an hour. He just sat in his room, pouting, before he looked outside and saw the bowl he had cast aside. He'd better clean it up. It wasn't like he cared, but Retsu had enough trouble as it was.

Once he went outside, however, he noticed a small box in front of his house. Upon opening it up, he smiled weakly. Whoever this good Samaritan was had managed to please him and piss him off all at once. Regardless, he took it back inside after getting the bowl.

He'd have to ask someone about the handwriting, later. Maybe Nate, or Spy, since they might know.]]

[Because Nana's on a quest to meet everyone still it's no surprise that she's on hand to view this little debacle. She's at the fence without even really thinking about it, not at all intimidated by the screaming and profanity.]

You want some help? I'd be more than happy to show you.

[It's a dream, so any qualms about his appearance don't apply here. Who would have thought she'd have such a stubborn streak in her?]

I'm not the best, but cooking isn't really all that hard once you've got the basics.

[[Hunter turned to face her with an angry, angry glare. He didn't want anyone interrupting his angry tirade, and he didn't want any help from anyone else.

Okay, that was a lie. He wanted help, but he wasn't going to freely admit it to the world.]]

If you want to help, get inside. Don't let anyone see you.

[His behavior was kind of funny since she hadn't been required to offer help, still it wouldn't hurt anything and she couldn't blame him for being in a bad mood.]

Hai, hai. [Nana complies with his request despite thinking it's kind of silly. For the record, she fails at being furtive spy-like she is not.]

[[He frowns at her, waiting for her to get inside. Once she does, he closes the door behind her immediately.]]

Do you know how to bake a cake properly?

Is there really a need for such language?

[[He shrugs.]]
Not really. But it makes me feel a little better.

I suppose it can be cathartic, in a way.

Yelling at something is much better than punching something, isn't it?
