[That's what she'll be doing then.] Aaand you would be right. This is great! [For a moment, there is only companionable candy eating.] You do know it's tradition to wear the bells of the Santas you've slain, right?

[Zagreus is either not paying attention, or feigning it, playing with candy.] Is it? Shame. I think I lost mine.

Oh no, I took care of that for you. [Here, look at this handfull of bells.] It's very traditional. Bit barbaric, I suppose, but what can you do.

[He eyes them warily, before sighing and extending a wrist, reluctantly. If you want to bell his neck you'll have to do more convincing.] Just for today.

[I was thinking of his hair actually.Fine, he gets one snapped around his wrist.] Hmm, well it's a bit... Well, nevermind.

[Heaven help us all. I'm too sleep deprived to resist anything. He flips his wrist once, speculatively. And sighs again.] I beg your pardon?

Just... it's a bit pathetic, don't you think? Doesn't really do you justice. But I mean, it's fine, I'm sure. Want another brandy barrel?

[Absently, he accepts the treat.] ...Pathetic? The bell isn't...doing me justice? [He crosses his arms.] What would you suggest?

Well, if you allow me. [She leans over only climbing on his lap a little bit, grabs a curl and starts tying a bell into it. And another one on the other side, to make it symmetrical. And one on the top of the hat, if he hasn't protested yet.] That's perfect!

[While humans crawling on him isn't really a surprise anymore, having bells tied into his hair really is.] ...I can't say this is a tradition I care much for. [The candy is just barely worth this kind of treatment. Juuuuuuust barely. Tread carefully, or have more bribery on hand, one of the two.]

[The basket IS nigh infinite, there's plenty of bribery. And she'll even pour him another glass of brandy.] Well, you can't just pick and choose with traditions. Either you do the bells or you can't have the chocolate Santas. Surely a small sacrifice. [Here, she'll wear a bell around her ear to make up for it.]

[Candy and booze help, yes. And at this point he's had rather much of both.] I suppose I can tolerate it, just for today. [But not without pouting a bit.] Just...don't tell anyone about it, alright?

[There can never be too much candy and booze. In fact, she'll have some more brandy too while patting his hand reassuringly.] I would never. You know how trustworthy I am. And you do look lovely.
