i think that you should assign dictator personalities to various pieces of office furniture/equipment.

Score! But I can't actually tell my coworkers. They have NO sense of humor. When one of my supervisors was out with bronchitis, I wrote down on the bulletin board that she was "Out sick. Has plague" and I got lectured by three people about not joking around about that sort of thing. I'm pretty positive no one's died of plague around here. One of the guys in the department next to us hurt his knee, and I said he should get a wheelchair since the crutches were bothering him, plus wheelchairs are fun, and I got admonished for that too! Clearly, no snickering about Adolf Hitler is allowed (not out loud, anyway...)

and don't you work in the med school? i can understand being scolded for the plague comment!
