"That's great, Ash! I'm so happy for you!"

Marona means the world to me. No one will ever matter more. I made a solemn vow to protect her, to care for her, for the rest of her life. I will not falter in my conviction. Marona is such a sweet, loving, forgiving girl. I hated to see the tortures she had to endure back home because of me… But in this world, things are different. I was given a second chance at life, as was Marona. She is making so many friends here, and seeing her happy, makes me happy. I will continue to protect her in this world as well, and, honestly? "... Missed you."

I think Nel is very kind and beautiful. I spoke with her a fw times before she arrived at the Ranch. When she did arrive, she shared her story with me, and I shared mine with her. She's the first person who has ever learned the truth about me in this world, and even Marona doesn't know of some of the things I told Nel. I find myself very trusting of her, we will travel together, and do breeding work together but... I really enjoy her company most of all. She and I are growing very close, and I can't wait for our relationship to grow. Smoker Smokinghunter

"What the hell just happened?”

Of all the friends I’ve made in Johto, Smoker is the best. He and I have gotten along very well since I met him. He’s told me a little about his world, and we have discovered our worlds are somewhat similar. Though we’ve battled together, that has only strengthened our friendship. I am not very fond of the people he is travelling with, but if I was in a trouble, in this world or any, I could think of no other friend I’d rather have beside me. Smoker puts on a strong front, but... I can tell he has a lot of honor and compassion in him, and I respect that. Athrun Shieldofjustice

Athrun is a friend of mine, (not just because of Marona!), and an employee on the Pokemon Ranch as well. I won't lie... I am slightly jealous that he's been watching over Marona along the Routes, but he is trustworthy. I'm glad Marona is making friends, and Athrun is a good friend to us both. We’ve also trained together, in preparation for Falkner’s gym. Rise restardom

“It's okay, Dandelion! I'll take good care of her, trust me!”

I think very highly of Rise. She’s been so kind to Marona and Dandelion, though I think she secretly is afraid of Thistle… That aside, she bought one of the Mareep eggs and hatched it. Dandelion absolutely loves his daughter Posie! Rise often scolds me when I push myself too hard, but I know that means she cares for me! Konata playingyou

“It's okay. I'm ‘travel sized’. I'm at peace with it, I swear.”

Konata first stayed on the ranch when she hurt her legs on Route 30. Since she decided to stay for a while and work on the ranch, she has been a big help to me! She’s been a friend to both me and Thistle, and worked on the Ranch; taking care of the Pokémon, and started the Berry Garden. She’s also introduced me to a few friends, like Rise. She’s always welcome on the Ranch! I just hope she doesn’t scold me anymore. Kay yattagarasu

"I'm pretty sure your face isn't fuzzy!"

I met Kay under unusual circumstances, when Thistle accidentally escaped form his Pokeball and destroyed the Violet Pokecenter. I bandaged her wounds and then we cleaned up. Nothing else went on that day. But we’re friends now, so even if something had happened, it’s over. But nothing happened. But! Kay is really sweet, energetic and fun to be around! Dandelion seems to be fond of her Wooper, Flapper, so I think they spent some time together during the storm. Roxas seasalttwilight

I met Roxas during the Beedrill Swarm, when his Pichu was under attack. Murkrow and Lara gave Roxas and his Rattata the edge they needed to wipe some of them out. Since then Roxas and I have been friends. Roxas is really nice, if a little quiet. His Pokemon and mine get along very well, too! Zack honor_first

“Don't worry, though. I'll get those tadpoles. You can count on me!”

Zack is very energetic and interesting. Though I can see a strong warrior behind those eyes, he seems to stay pretty carefree in this world. He caught several Poliwag for the Ranch, and in turn, I bred Thistle with his Dratini, Angela, so he could get eggs for his friends. I enjoy Zack's company, and I look forward to a battle with him someday. Link

I met link in Cherrygrove, shortly after my first battle. We rested at the Pokecenter, and had a battle between his Lapras and Murkrow. He had a sound victory over me! Since then Link and I have been friends! He is very much the quiet type, and I have learned that his world is a lot like mine. Despite his age, Link strikes me as quite the fighter, and I look forward to our next battle, and hanging out with him more! Sora travelbycandy

I met Sora in Cherrygrove, and I had my first battle with him. It ended in a tie. Ever since, Sora and I have been friends, and his Growlithe, Flame, has been Lara’s best friend. Sore let Flame stay ont he ranch to breed Lara. I look forward to another battle with him to settle the score. Yayoi 10yen_idol

"Ah! I almost forgot- it's not over yet! I'm sorry!"

Yayoi is a sweet girl. She really does remind me of Marona at times. Her Farfetch’d, Scallion and her Hoppip battled Lara and Murkrow when we first met in Cherrygrove, and we’ve been friends ever since. She is always around to talk to me, and always has soemthing nice to say. I think Marona and her would be great friends. Raenef powerfail

“I don't have to do anything heroic there, do I?”

Raenef is very nice. We’ve spoken one several occasions, and he’s been very kind to me. I have bred a Mareep and Geodude egg for him. I hope he enjoys them! He’s seems a bit sheepish, but I still look forward to meeting him someday! Sakura petalsdance
