I feel a burgeoning need to *create*, to make something pleasing to the eye and mind, something that invites repeat visits, something that inspires to go out and explore or create for oneself ... only I don't know what to create or which medium to use

I kind of really do feel like I'm trapped in something akin to a drug addiction spiral... taking a hit/gorging on fic because it feels like it ought to inspire you to write/be creative, but all it does is get in the way of your ability to *actually* be creative.

Ugh! I need to get ColdTurkey properly set up on the new computer...

(Probably the thing I most need to do, in order to become productively creative, is to just ... stop reading fanfic like a junkie.)
