fic: what dreams may come

Here, have five ficlets on a theme, as I try to get to know the characters from the Project of Doom! (Which is really "City Under Sea", but I like saying the other better.) These are not in any sort of chronological order

Sounds great. I know I'm going to like this fic.

Can you tell me which Atlantis characters go with the names above. I know the first is John, maybe Teyla the second one, the fourth maybe Weir?

Sure! The first, as you guessed, is John; the second is Ulilon's maid, who doesn't have a SGA equivalent; the third is Rodney (in function, not character); the fourth is indeed Elizabeth; the fifth, Aiden Ford.

There is a Teyla equivalent, but I haven't yet figured out names for her and her people. (I'm thinking "Sticks-in-Throat" is the meaning, though, however that winds up translating. And "Makes-to-Vomit" for her brother; they figure untasty names might make the Wraith/Hungry less inclined to eat them.)

I kinda thought 3 was Rodney but sounded more like Ronon.

Um...yeah those names are um...not so good. LOL

*laughs* I'm looking forward to coming up with some pretty-sounding translations, so that there's a bit of culture shock when Iranan & co. realize the meanings and that everyone has a nasty name.
