Thought you said this wasn't funny! The beginning had me grinning at the chair fight line (I'm surprised there was one left after Wolverine had got his nails out;)), Clem's puppy dog eyes, and Bill marking his territory, which has really given me some worries for Fleur.

Thoroughly enjoyed what you did with both the parallels and the differences between them; particularly Remus recognising the sadness as well as the darkness in Spike, and the frustration of being unable to help because he knows you can only help yourself in the end. (I hope he goes home and gives Tonks yet another apology after all this;)).

Really liked this about Buffy, feet set wide like the superhero she was, her face hard and desperate at once., the comparison of Spike to Sirius because, yes, indeed, and the Doctor Ruth line, lol.

Thought this crossover worked a treat. :) You've made me think about Remus and Angel ones, now...

Heh heh, okay, maybe it was a little funny. ;) I should have had Remus offer Spike some chocolate, though, lol. Or maybe a Bloomin' Onion.

Weird, kerrymdb gave me this challenge, and I began to realize how many parallels there are between the two characters (and also the contrasts between them). It actually was quite fun to write, and I NEVER thought I'd write a crossover. :)

If it wasn't for the fact that I (shamefully) have four fics on the very slow go, I would - but then the thought of Remus in that long black leather coat for the most patheically contrived of reasons is still a tempting one, lol. Perhaps I'll hold you to it, one day. ;)

Heh heh, for this fic I also toyed with the idea of Spike making Remus get some t-shirts and a leather coat. Great minds think alike!

OH YAY! That was fabulously funny and bittersweet. I love the idea of a Dark Creatures Group, and the inclusion of Wolverine and then Bill marking everything - I nearly died of laughter! Also, I really love you for the mention of Clem. He is one of my favorite secondary (if even that) characters. And your Spike was spot on, especially his relationship with Buffy. Brilliant, tying it in to Remus and Tonks like that.

The Dark creatures support group was actually kerrymdb's idea, which is funny because she told me yesterday that she's never seen an episode of Buffy! :D

Glad you thought Bill marking Spike's lair as his territory was funny; I got a chuckle out of that myself. And will all the other sexy werewolves in the room, I just had to include Wolverine. ;)

I'm pleased that you liked the mention of Clem. I love that character, too!

Most of all, I'm very happy that you liked Spike in this, and his tumultuous relationship with Buffy. It's weird; once I started writing this I recognized how many parallels there are between those two and Remus and Tonks (though there are also plenty of contrasts).

This was great! And I'll be honest, I've never seen an episode of Buffy in my life. I just know a bit about the unrequited love Spike had for Buffy. But you're right, there are some interesting parallels between Spike and Remus.

Loved the beginning with Bill marking his territory. Poor Bill! How very humiliating for him.
