Kennedy had gotten her workout out of the way stupid early, before it got too hot to even think about going for that long run, much less the rest of the routine. If anyone had stopped Jason when he first woke up and asked him how he was doing being surrounded by girls, he probably would have said things were going fine. Of course, that would have been before he stumbled into the living room and spotted Kennedy in her sports bra.

"Uh," he said, his mouth moving faster than his brain, partly because he'd just woken up, and partly because hello, half-dressed girl. "Morning."

"Oh, hey," Kennedy replied, very hard-pressed to hide the smirk twitching at the corners of her mouth as she looked up from her computer. "Jason. How's it going? There's doughnuts and stuff if you want 'em."

"Uh." He was going to stop saying that any time now, but to get to the doughnuts he'd have to get closer to her and was she trying to fry his brain? "Thanks. Did you get those?" You know, while she was busy running around without a shirt on.

Not intentionally trying, no, but she did think it was kind of hilarious.

"On my way back from--" Kennedy glared at the spam email that had just showed up in her inbox. Like she needed you, herbal Viagra. Please. "-- my run, yeah. Kinda figured I might as well save you guys an extra trip for food."

So Sookie wasn't around for the weekend, but that didn't mean Bobby wasn't gonna stop by the cabin. There were other residents there worth hanging around, after all.

"Yo, Kennedy!" he shouted from just outside the door.

Look, just be glad he didn't just waltz inside without permission.

"Yo, Boy Scout!" Kennedy yelled back. "Long time no freaking talk! Get the hell in here already, what are you waiting for?"

"Yeah, I got a message from her about that. Just a routine trip home, right?" asked Kennedy, setting the laptop aside and reaching for a maple bar. "One from which she will be returning in a hell of a lot less time than you took getting back from yours?"
