I have PCOS, and it's approved under insurance for it. There's a list of things that will give you the go-ahead to get it. If you have a BMI over 40, it's likely you'd get approved or a BMI 35 or over with a co morbidity such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol or PCOS. There's a bunch but I don't remember them all.
My doctors all said I am the smallest person they know of to have the surgery and it's only because my condition doesn't let me lose weight conventional way. This is the only way I've been able to lose weight in my life, other than giving birth. In about six months I will have lost about 80 pounds which is exactly what I want to lose.
it seems like since ive had my kid ive done nothing but struggle with these last few pounds. i maintain pretty well. i came off deployment after losing 40 lbs, but a lot of that is not having the time to eat properly and running around in a turtle neck and dickies. it was hot ass fuck all the time. i worked out consistently too, because lets me honest, there isnt much else to do. all i really need to lose it 20 lbs. and it seems like they arent going anywhere. 160 will be the bane of my existence!
but that sounds amazing! and im absolutely happy for you!
