J'avoue que lorsque j'écris, je pense directement en anglais, je ne traduis pas, je n'ai jamais vu la série en VF et serai incapable d'écrire en français une fanfic de The OC! Pour self conscious, je le traduirais par "gêné", "embarrassé" si vraiment je devais faire une version! Mais quand je l'emploie en anglais, il y a deux notions qui se superposent : timidité + sentiment d'infériorité, de ne pas être à la hauteur et de ne pas être à sa place. L'antonyme serait "arrogant".

Fabulous - as usual! I loved the scene in the bathroom where Ryan got to hear Seth stand up for him. I'm also very impressed with your Summer. It's great the way she takes care of Ryan. I can't wait to read more!
