Kate, you amaze me. I don't think I could ever do what you do. But I whole heartedly agree with what you say.

The only way they can change is if they show effort to change. Effort, and initiative. Neither of which those types have. A person is the only one that can change themself. Though... hopefully, they can see people like you, and they can see that there is a better way in this world. And maybe, just maybe, someday, they will thank you for the work that you do. And they will genuinely mean it. But, even if they do not, I thank you, Kate. I am proud of you for the job you do, and the services you give to the people that you help. It takes a lot to do what you do. You are doing a wonderful job.

I pray for the day that they do thank you.
