This is not a dead blog. This is merely a withering blog.

So, I have a confession to make (well, not a confession in the "deep, dark secret" way, as it's probably pretty obvious by the two-or-three-month gap between posts):

I'm really, really bad at being consistent with this journal.

I'm absolutely horrendous at putting things up at acceptable intervals, putting up anything with merit, and especially, ( Read more... )

I know that you can set it so that you get emails when people comment on your entries or reply to your comments? But beyond that, I don't much know about a notification system.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROSEPH IF U WANT ME TO WRITE U SOMETHING (I CANT PROMISE ANY COHERENCY IN IT THO AHAHAHFAIL/O\) JUZ PROMPT ME OR LINK ME TO PROMPTS FROM THE MEME U WANT FILLED??? I'M SURE I CAN AT LEAST COME UP WITH SOMETHING (I REALLY DO WISH TO KICK THIS BLASTED WRITERS BLOCK)

okay tbh dont force yourself to update. my entries are sporadic at best (lol there is quite possibly a year gap between my entry last september and the entry before that. so.)

The Aeneid (okay, and the Iliad/Odyssey because the Aeneid is like original character fanfiction of that--and, okay, The Divine Comedy, too, because that's kind of sort of fanfiction about Virgil. Shutting up now.)

Accurate. I've been mulling over rereading Iliad/Odyssey tbh I havent read that book since maybe freshman undergrad year AHAHAHAHWAT. I havent read Hunger Games though. I have the book on my bedside table but then I feel like spreadsheets are all up in my Kool Aid at the moment and my brain feels like it's leaking out of my ears so idk?

ASDGJKSADJGKASL;DGJK;ASJDGL;JASKL;DGJSKL;ADGJASK, do not tempt me. I'll do it, I swear to god.

I don't want to force it, exactly--I want to get back into the habit of writing consistently, and maybe this'll make me? (Okay, so that's still forcing it. Blargh.)

DO IT. Read about the Greeks and their bromantic moments and Achilles' eternal manpain and at least thirty pages per person about how many ships they have. You would really like the Hunger Games (there are badass ladies everywhere, including the main character!), but, yeah, wait until your brain isn't Excel Hell.
